Bike Camp
Bike Camp is Back! 🚲
Whether it’s your child’s first time on wheels or they’re working toward riding independently, our one-on-one Bike Camp helps kids build a life skill that lasts forever.
During Bike Camp your child will receive:
✅ Individual instruction with a trained provider
✅ 30-minute sessions to keep kids focused without burnout
✅ Support for all skill levels and abilities
✅ Modified and traditional bikes available if needed
✅ Personalized bike adjustments for comfort and success
We’ve made camp flexible and easy to fit into your summer schedule—with 30-minute sessions offered on Thursday and Friday mornings in June—but spots go fast! Sign up now to guarantee your Bike Camp sessions.
*For the best learning experience, we recommend attending one session each week of Bike Camp.

Children up to age 21 of all abilities are welcome!

We recommend attending a session all 3 weeks for consistency, confidence, and lasting progress.

Each session is 30 minutes—perfect for staying focused without tiring out.

No problem! We support all stages: from balance bikes to riding independently.

If your child has a bike and helmet, we encourage you to bring those as our provider will measure and adjust the seat height and helmet straps to the proper size.
If your child does NOT have a bike or helmet, we will have traditional and modified bikes as well as helmets available.
We will provide water throughout as well as popsicles for an after session treat!

Yes! We have modified and traditional bikes as well as helmets available for your child to use during Bike Camp.

Bike Camp will take place right across the street from our clinic in the Getwell Church parking lot. Look for the Bike Camp signs and check in at the white SPT tent.

Life-Saving Skills Class
Could you confidently respond in a medical emergency?
We’re partnering with Hometown Hero CPR to bring our families a Life-Saving Skills Class designed for parents, caregivers, babysitters—anyone who wants to be prepared when it matters most.
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn:
How to prevent and respond to choking
CPR techniques for infants, children, and adults
How to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Basic first aid skills for medical emergencies
This class is $35 per person and provides the knowledge and confidence to act in a crisis. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, babysitter, or just want to be prepared, this training is for you!

Benefit Gala
1st Annual
Benefit Gala Supporting Hernando Children
Southern Pediatric Therapy will be hosting the First Annual Benefit Gala for Hernando Children this March! Join us on Saturday, March 29, 2025, for an elegant Night on the Red Carpet as we come together to support our community’s children and families. Proceeds will go to Hernando Parks & Recreation to equip a Hernando park with adaptive playground equipment, making a lasting impact for all Hernando children.
We’re proud to be partnering with local businesses and community leaders, including Mrs. Hippie Eats, DeSoto Family Dental Care, The Gatorade Fieldhouse, City Hall Cheesecake, Williams, Pitts, & Beard, PLLC, and Studio 139. The evening will feature a red carpet entrance with professional photo op, live band & dancing, gala dinner and drinks, as well as a silent auction and exciting announcement! Tickets and sponsorships are available below—don’t miss your chance to be part of this incredible evening. We can’t wait to see you there!
