Valerie grew up in a small town in Iowa and moved to Memphis in 2019. She graduated from Jackson State Community College in 2022 and began her career at Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital, where she primarily worked with stroke patients. She is passionate about helping others become as independent as possible, whether through adapting tasks creatively or teaching new skills to support their progress.

She and her husband, Michael, recently bought a home in Southaven and welcomed their first child, Henry, in March 2025. They share their home with three dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors as a family.

In her free time—what little there is with a newborn—she enjoys reading and doing crafts. She’s excited to begin this next chapter, applying her current knowledge to working with children and learning from the team around her.
