Speech-Language Pathologist

Katie Adams, M.A. CCC-SLP is an early career speech language pathologist who adores making personal connections with her patients and their caregivers. An avid Ole Miss fan, she obtained her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders with minors in education and psychology from the University of Mississippi where she was also a Taylor Medalist and later received her M.A. from the University of Memphis. Her previous experience includes 4 years at an outpatient facility where she saw patients aged 1 month to 80 years old with a wide variety of diagnoses and etiologies. Her clinical interests include autism, early language intervention, AAC, and dyslexia. Katie strives to implement child-led therapy to target goals during play and educate caregivers of their child’s communication difficulties.

When not in the clinic, Katie has multiple hobbies including cheering on Ole Miss in any sport, hunting and fishing with her husband Zach, and reading or painting in her garden.
