Brianna Rines

Brianna earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, her Master’s degree in Dyslexia Therapy from the University of Southern Mississippi, and her Educational Specialist degree in Psychometry. She is a licensed Psychometrist through the Department of Education. Throughout her career, she has worked in elementary, Montessori, and gifted education and has received specialized training in dyslexia, structured literacy, and the DuBard Association Method.

Brianna has spent more than a decade working with children and families, first in the classroom and now through educational assessment and dyslexia services.  Her experience as a teacher, dyslexia interventionist, and educational examiner has given her a unique understanding of learning difficulties from both sides of the table.

She believes an evaluation should be much more than testing a child and handing a parent a report full of numbers. What Brianna loves most about her work is helping families finally put the pieces together. When a child is struggling with reading, academics, attention, or learning, parents often know something isn’t clicking, they just may not know why. 

Brianna’s goal is to help find that why. Above all, Brianna wants families to leave the evaluation process with answers, a plan, and a better understanding of their child. She believes one of the most rewarding parts of her job is helping children recognize that learning differently does not mean they are any less capable, it simply means we have to figure out how they learn best.
